Accomplishments & Goals

The visual & performing arts into their learning that can impact them for a lifetime.

DPAC has supported the arts through the following accomplishments:

2019 - 2020 school year:

5th Annual Fundraising Dinner & Show
Hosted 4th “Deer Park’s Got Talent” show for district
Trophies for JFK student performers at JFK Variety Show & Musical Trophies for May Moore student performers
Offered free painting of Pumpkins at DPCA Fall Festival
DPHS Student Scholarships totaling $8,000
Made available scholarships for local Performance studios to students from K-8
Provided funds to offset loss of deposit for students whose Band trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 and refund was not given by vendor.

DPAC was able to accomplish the above despite the COVID-19 pandemic that began early 2020. All of the fundraising events occurred prior to the shutdown of schools and social distance requirements.
